How to ask someone to senior prom?

Can you ask a girl to senior prom who is in a relationship with someone (both from another school)?

  • senior prom is coming up, and the girl i want to take the most is this girl who goes to a high school 45 minutes away from me. we know each other and have talked multiple times but also arent entirely friends (just acquaintances). to me she would be perfect to take to prom at my school. problem is about a month ago she got into a relationship with this guy at her school and at least according to her faceboook, they are still goin out. so is she completely off limits to take to prom? could i maybe send a message to the boyfriend, stating that i in no way am looking to be in any type of serious relationship with her, and that i simply want a date for prom and thats it. then if he gave the okay, then ask her? this would be complicated though lol, i know i personally wouldnt feel very comfortable if a gf of mine went to prom with some guy at another school even if he claimed he didnt wanna be in a relationship.

Yeah maybe it's ok if you want to get beat up in an alley. Wouldn't she be going with him to his prom anyway? it's not unheard of to take dates from different schools to the prom. If i were that guy i would be suspicious. lots of you kids lose your virginity on prom night lol.

Just ask her and see what she says, they might not be that serious. Plus she may like you better you just live far away!
