What to wear for burlesque dancing class?

  • I am doing burlesque dance class as part of my hen doo this year and I can't wait! However, I am not sure what to wear? should I wear a burlesque type outfit our just sports wear for comfort? Has anyone else done this? What did you wear?

    When I do my classes we mostly wear leggings and some kind of longish top and heels of course :-) some people wear skirts some wear little shorts. It depend on what your comfy in but in general you should be able to see the line of your legs. I'f its for a hen night it might be more fun to dress up though :-) try black rights with frilly Knicks over them and a nice top.

you could ask your teacher or check the website i would probably wear something athletic but somewhat sexy like shorts and a sports bra and maybe an off shoulder top with that or something. that what i wear for hip hop I'm not really familiar with burlesque dancing though so i would check the website. good luck!

hi i like dancing but i never did that type of dance althou i am familiar with it...umm the dress for a burlesque is a little dressy lol....that be showing some sex appeal gurl. you wanna get people attention ad jealousy go head and dew it. but maybe you shoould wear a simple one...like the cute little simple short one. and that's cool i wanna dew that one day im 15..i like to dance but yea kno im black so mostly al we do is booty shakin..or twerk...but i love the hollywood theme type of look. but maybe you try simple for now. like a beginning out fit like some nice comfy tight jeans and that cute sexy top they wear and heels so that way you look just right. :D not to dressy not to comfy looking (hoped this helped)
