Does the saw ride at Thorpe park go upside down?

Thorpe Park SAW Ride.?

  • I'm going to Thorpe Park in a few weeks and I want to go on SAW the ride. I'm not fussed about how scary the ride is, just the que line lol. Is the que line in the dark? Does anything jump out? No silly answers thank you!z

    Well, the queue is fine outdoors.. a little cramped in some areas but otherwise ok. As for the indoors, it's about as dark as X:/ No Way Out's queue! Nothing jumps out at you, BUT there is a shotgun on the ceiling (fake of course) that will shoot air out - you will hear the gun load before it shoots, but if you miss the sound or you're just not expecting it then it can make you jump (when you first go inside, that's where the shotgun is so watch out for it!). Umm other than that, the rest of the queue is ok! Tip; Try and sit at the back, it's way more comfortable! Have fun! :]

I remember reading on a couple of websites about actors in the queue line. I found a quote from an online news article explaining what some of the actors do: "actors portray a woman being tortured by a masked maniac, and a 'dead' man is suspended in barbed wire." The queue is forever!!!!!!! When you first line up your outside waiting for over an hour :O Then you go inside for 15 mins .. sometimes things jump out at you it depends if the actors are in there! THEY ARE REALLY SCAREEY TBH Also beware once you enter inside, every 5 mins theres a big shooting sound and it hurts your ears!!!!!

Some days they will, others day they won't but even so, just have someone to stay behind and your good to go. And the queue line is dark, but so is the beginning part of the ride. So remember to take someone to hide behind!

The ride is over rated im sorry to say, nothing is as scary as you think it would be linking in with the whole SAW thing. Queues can get up to 3hrs I've seen (and with a break down i've waited 4 hrs!), usually about 2 hours on a weekend/ schoold holiday.
