Whats a better water park? kings bird or dorney park?

Dorney park/ Hershey park. Which amusement park is better? Please help!?

  • I would honestly appreciate it if everyone read what my situation was and try to help me out here. My boyfriend's niece is turning 12 on June. We had a hard time deciding which park we wanted to go to. I don't really like thrill rides and dislike the long wait. Which park is better for that kind of situation? Plus, I honestly don't like water rides because I don't know how to swim since I was never taught how to. So, please help. Please also tell me which day would be better to go. I would like it to be less crowded. Thanks! 10 points for best answer.

well when we went to hershey in 2002, the lines were kinda long, and we went in the summer. last june we went to dorney park and the lines we drastically shorter than i would have expected on a saturday. oh, we went to hersheypark on a saturday too. dorney has more rollercoasters than hershey, but dorney does have the water park that has water slides and a wave pool in it. hershey has some water rides (but all were put in since i went there last). i think that your best bet would be to check out their sites to see what kind of attractions they have and compare to what you like. oh and don't forget that hershey park has the factory tour/ride! Oh, and to the first person who answered, neither park is open until april or may, so going in feb or march is out of the question...but that isn't your problem since you are going in june.

well Dorney Park is a combination of a water park and an amusement park. There arent many scary rides at dorney park. Im pretty sure a 12 year old can handle them. Im pretty sure there won't be huge lines on june 12 since school hasnt been let out. I went to Dorney park and i had a blast.
