Can i use an old disneyland ticket to upgrade to an annual pass?

If I go to Disneyland on my birthday can I use the free ticket to upgrade to an annual passport?

  • So if I go on my birthday I will get a free one park ticket valued at $69. Can I then use that towards the purchase of an annual pass? So, say if I decide on the Deluxe Annual Passport ($269): $269 - $69 ---------- $200 I would get the passport for $200. Is this right?
