First of all, closing your eyes will make it worse. You won't know where you're going, and that will likely make you feel worse Lol. Unfortunately, a lot of the big coasters there (well... most) are tall. I'm not a massive fan of heights, but I do it for the experience and because I love Roller coasters. Honestly, you should just do it if you want to conquer your fear of the rides. If you feel bad when you're at the highest point of the coaster, you could try closing your eyes until you have reached the bottom of the hill, or try looking down into the coaster's car (the bit where you sit in). I'm gathering you're a girl, so try holding one of your friends hands or something (if you do that sort of thing) and ask them to tell you when you're at the bottom of the hill or to help encourage you. Sometimes you just need a little help when it comes to the thing you fear, just ask them to talk to you. Another thing to try would be deep breathing; inhale for 3-5 seconds, and exhale for 3-5 seconds, slowly. When we panic or are anxious we tend to have shorter breaths and feel light-headed or faint, so correcting your breathing pattern by deep breathing will help you calm down and assess the situation. Tell yourself it will be fine, the rides are well maintained, it is very very unlikely anything will go wrong, (and this is the truth). You could also try picking up some Dr Bach's Rescue Remedy (it's quite expensive) but it will help calm you down before you go there (or bring it with you and take some before a ride). And finally, like someone has stated before me, try starting off small if you can, and gradually face the taller rides. Good luck on the trip! Hope you enjoy yourself :)
