Are amusement parks more crowded during weekends?

    Yes, amusement parks are more crowded on Saturdays and Sundays. However, since it is summer vacation, amusement parks tend to be more crowded every day of the week. If you want to go on a "light crowd day" don't go during the summer. If you have to go during the summer, go on a Tuesday or Wednesday when the crowds are generally lighter. Next to Saturdays and Sundays, Fridays and Mondays, followed by Thursdays are the next crowded days.

Um. i actually went on Sunday to six flags not to long ago for a thing in my job and it was EMPTY compared to the usually hott mess it is in, but i think some of the rides are closed on Sunday but im not to sure about that because my friend told me i didn't see the ride closed for myself, but probably to avoid the weekend crowds its best to go during the week.

I remember reading a study (or article, or something) that said that amusement parks are the least crowded on Tuesdays. Unfortunately, I can't find the link, but I *can* tell you that no matter the time of year it's always more crowded on weekends, especially if they give a better deal on Saturdays.

It depends on where you go and what you get on, but your right schools are out so it wouldn't make a difference, but Saturday would be just fine if you already have a special deal! I would go whether its crowded or not!!

It is always more crowded on weekends (unless the weather forecast is poor)...But I've been to Six Flags America during the beginning of the season on Sundays, and it was vertically empty (it's more crowded now)...but I'm assuming you are going to a bigger amusement park then that one. So to answer your question: Yes...Friday-Sunday there are more guests for obvious reasons.
