What are some ideas for a mad-scientist Haunted House?

Does Anyone have any Amazingly spooky ideas for a Middle School haunted house?!?!?!?

  • Okay i'm in an organization with my school and we're having a haunted house. I was wondering if anyone has any amazing ideas for a haunted house, were not on a tight budget, we have quite a bit of spending money. We want to make it to where our guest wont be able to sleep when they get home! :-D I hope you all have fantastic ideas!!

    Heyy! Thanks for answering my questionn lol.. Well i am in an oragnization too called the "Builders club" and we are doing a haunted house too. What we are going to do is buy like a halloween CD with creepy noises and stuff... if you have an "Announcement speaker" thingy.. you could play the CD on the intercom. You could also have people buy like really creepy masks and stuff.. Then if you have TV's in the classrooms you could play something scary.... Or you could have people walking around whispering the guests name and creep them out!! lol hope these help!!!!

Well, I go to a high school where they produce full grade films, and we do a professional award-winning Halloween thing called X-Scream every year. We've been on the Travel Channel. :) I took my sister, who's in 7th grade, this year, and here are some things that she got freaked out by: we had zombies on the ground screaming stuff like "Help me! Come back! My baby!" and stuff like that; how we took a truck (a bus would work as well) and we dressed a kid up in a Chupachabra (I don't know if that's how you spell it. XD) and we had him jump down and grab one of the zombies and start "wrestling" with it; we also used scary clowns and demented looking toys as a "scare factor". Also, if there is any outdoor area, we had "captors" banging on fences as well. We also had an alien set with a girl dressed as an "alien fetus" (I know, eww right? XD) that climbed out of a tube attatched to the ceiling. Using fog machines also helps. Just remember though, we had full on professional Hollywood sets, so we had access to some expensive stuff. Use the money to buy streamers, snacks, and decorations... also, get some people to wear scary halloween costumes, and maybe pop out of bathroom stalls or lockers if you have them. Make it a halloween they'll never forget!

as people walk through together, you could take people away from the group 1 by 1 so that in the end one person is walking alone. It'll be super scary alone. Or you could kill people and leave their half-eaten corpses on the floor

the room shall be completely dark and there will be random people in there dressed as mummies or ghosts etc. and they will suddenly pop out or they can suddenly grab people from behind
