What is Disneyland Paris like?
-
Ok so I am 14 and I live in the USA, I have been to Disneyland and Disney World many times and I am obsessed with Disney. I would love to go to Disneyland Paris and my mom said we might be able to go next year. I have never been out of the US and of course we would tour the rest of the Paris area. I already have memorized the rides, shops, and restaurants. But is it worth the trip and the money. What is a good hotel (of the cheap options)? What is everything like and is it fun? What is the best time to year to go, we would probably go in June so what is the weather like then? Do they have buses from any of the airports to the resort, or from the resort to downtown Paris? Also this is kind of off topic but what are the flights like? My mom has been to Europe several times but before I was born, so I would be kind of scared to go on the long flight! Thank you so much for the information, I really appreciate it and I will pick best answer!!!

Answer:
I love Disneyland Paris I've been 6 times and plan to go back this year as well. You will always get mixed views but it's what you want from the parks that it really boils down to. I have many friends that have been to all the parks and say Paris is the best where as others refuse to even try it and say obviously the american parks are the best. It doesn't really have anything different to the other parks but all the rides are more modernized and more suited for the 80's above generations. You just have to you tube the rides to see the quality difference. I'm afraid if I went to Florida I would be disappointed if I went to disneyland because all my favorite rides would be completely different, they have a more family feel to them rather than the excitement you get from paris. I have stayed at the santa fe, Cheyenne and Sequoia. All three were fine but I mostly stay at the cheyenne for the feel of the hotel and look. The staff are very friendly and the free continental breakfast is one of the best parts of the day, but be careful with meal times it can get very expensive a bottle of water costing 3 euros. That's $4.27, so yes that's the down side of disney Paris but apart from the cost it is worth going its very clean and good for those who love disney and Paris is amazing, a must see!

Don't go!!! I live in the UK and we've been to Disney World a few times, I'm telling you that Disneyland Paris will seriously dissapoint you, I've been twice! The people are rude, the place is more expensive. There are less rides and theme parks than at the American parks. If you like your good opinion of Disney, don't go to Paris, the rides are either exact replicas or not as good as the American parks. I don't know how anyone in their right minds can think that Paris is better than the American parks. The staff at Paris are horrible and some don't speak English. To be honest, you'd actually be better going to Tokyo Disneyland after the earthquake than going to Paris. Oh, and it's cold, wet and windy! Seriously, you're closer to the better parks, don't waste money going to Paris!

disneyland paris has nothing that Disneyland doesn't already have. (though the pirates of the Caribbean ride is much better) its MUCH MUCH smaller. the weather there is roughly the same as the uk so you could either get red hot sunshine in june or torrential rain! it is fun but all the rides use french language. e.g. the 'snow white' ride is called 'blanc nege' i really wouldn't bother going there if you've already been to disney land and disney world as i think you might be very disappointed.paris itself is MILES away from the main park but the metro station is right in the park itself so would be easy to get to and fro (though expensive) usa to paris is roughly 10 hours so a very long flight. if you do decide to go the DO NOT stay at the davy Crockett ranch! we stayed there when we went and it was rubbish! very run down with bad food. personally i wouldn't bother going.its a lot of money, everything is overpriced and the french are notoriously bad at queueing for ANYTHING! paris itself is beautiful and very interesting so you would be better to stay there and just visit disneyland paris for the day. you could also visit park asterisk while you are in france too. hope this helped! x
