Is Splash Mountain at Disney World scary? What about Big Thunder Mountain Railroad?

Splash Mt. just has a huge drop at the end. nothing else during the ride. And I have always gotten wet riding it. Not soaked, but it is kind of hard not to get your seat wet.

Splash Mountain is a fun ride your in a little boat watching characters sing the only "scary" part would be the drop but its really quick I almost compare it to its a small world with a large drop. To get soaked on the ride sit in the front, anywhere you sit your likely to get wet, bring a poncho if you don't want to get to wet. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is more like a roller coaster your in a train that is on a wild fast adventure. Have Fun!!

Big Thunder is a very tame roller coaster. It's a great one to ride if you are just wanting to try one out. It does not go very fast at all, and there's no loops or anything. So good choice, give it a try. If you like it, be sure to ride it at night, too. The scenery is really neat at night. Splash Mountain normally does not get you that wet. The problem is that in the summer or whenever it's hot enough, they also run water cannons that shoot extra water out at you when you drop. This water is NOT created by your drop into the water. They usually do it for every couple or three boats. So should you be the lucky ones who get the water cannons, you could get soaked if you are in the right place at the right time. The front is the wettest and the back is the driest, usually. It's not scary except for the big drop. When the big drop comes, you will inch your way up a big hill. You will know it's going to happen, and the scenes around it help to build suspense. So if you have never been on it before, the buildup can make you nervous. But by that point, you will have already gone down a couple of small drops, which hopefully, you have enjoyed. And it will be too late to turn back, so just stay calm, get your hands positioned in a way that you can hold on to make yourself feel more comfortable, and get ready! This is the smoothest ride like this I have ever been on, so that makes it feel a lot less scary. I think you will like it if you give it a try.

i have never gotten soaked on Splash Mountain. Someone else always does but never me. it is not scary at all. It has singing animals and is pretty slow. there is one big drop at the end but it is not scary Thunder Mountain is awesome. I did not think it was scary at all. It was thrilling but not scary. My mom disagreed and thought it was scary. I never sat in front. I think people in the front get soaked.
