Is it true that after a season pass at Disneyland is scanned a colored picture of oh you pops up on the screen?

I'm borrowing my friend's season pass to go to Disneyland. I'm not sure how strict they are nowadays. I heard that they have a color screen now that shows the picture of the pass holder.

Answer:
When the annual pass is scanned the photo of the owner comes up and if the person who handed the pass over doesn't look anything like the picture the pass holder can have the pass taken away from them for a year I think it is and they don't get a refund on their pass.

Yes, when the AP is scanned the same picture on the pass shows up in color on the screen. And yes they are strict. If there is any question as to the identity they will request a valid ID such as a drivers licence. Not only would you be denied entry but they will confiscate the pass. They will then void the pass and your friend will no longer be able to use it either.

I have an annual pass to Disney World, and they don't take a picture of you so they have no way of knowing what you look like, they do have a finger print thing. Usually they just assume the machine is malfunctioning and let you on through. Now it could be different at Disney Land, but that's how it is at Disney World.

Yes this is true, my grandson had to be lifted up so the cast member could see his face to match him. I would not borrow that pass unless you could pass for a twin. Your friend might not be happy when they take his pass away from you. It might be worth investing in a season pass yourself. You can park hop with this and you get some discounts at some of the food places and the shops. Hope you have fun!

Yes, they do have a picture. Even as a cast member they have asked me to pull out my drivers liscense because I have short her in my cast id. So they are very strict. The pass will get void and you will have a lot of problems with your friend. Also what you are planning to do is stealing. I dont see why disney would not chose to pursue legal actions.

This is very true at Disneyland but not at Disney World. Whenever a passport holder passes through the gate, a large crystal clear photo pops up on the turnstile monitor. It's surprisingly clear down to the freckles on your nose or a small scratch on your face.

Yep, they do. That's why Annual Passholders must get their pass in person, so their photo can be taken.
