Question for Disneyland employees & season pass holders?
-
I've been to Disneyland many times before, but not for a while and I'm just wondering if anybody can tell me what months/days are good times to go to Disneyland. I would like to go sometime when it is not too hot (or too cool) and not as crowded (so when school is in). I really want to plan a trip there with my boyfriend, but he doesn't like excessive heat or crowds, so I'm trying to find the best time for us to go for him. Any other tips would be greatly appreciated as well. Thanks so much! :)

Answer:
i'm a "southern california" passholder, which basically means that i'm blocked out of days disney defines as "peak season" days. so one resource for you to gague crowds is the block out schedule for the southern califorinia and southern california select pass, located here: https://secure.disney.go.com/disneyland/en_US/ap/index?name=AnnualPassholderGatewayPage&appRedirect=https://secure.disney.go.com/disneyland/en_US/ap/gated/landing?name=AnnualPassholderLandingPage week days are generally less crowded than weekends. and its consistiently hot in anaheim from about june through mid september (coincidentily aligned with "peak" attendance times") april/may and september-november are great times to go. december-march have hit or miss days (because of unpredictible so cal weather--rain, random cold spells, etc...the weather just seems more unpredictible at this time of the year.) when you DO go, remember that crowds fluctuate during the day as well. the early day and late evening tend to have the fewest #'s of people, but it can (and will) get more crowded after 2 or 3 (because many families have either multi-day tickets or annual passports). so if it starts to get too crowded, try to go see a show, have a meal, watch a parade, or even shop in downtown disney for a little while--don't just leave. i hope you two have fun!

i have a annual pass. I go with my mom all the time usually once or twice a month. We have found that the best days to go are on tuesday's and wednesday when it's less crowded.also it is cooler in winter of course and even early spring on day's where the heat is not kicking in for summer. Also take advantage of fast passes that will cut your time standing in lines. hope this helped and have fun
