Castaway Indoor Water Park?

My boyfriend and I are planning on traveling up to Lake Erie for our senior trip together. We want to be on the waterfront, and the most fun resort I can find is Castaway Bay Indoor Water Park. Since it offer the discount tickets we'll be taking advantage of Cedar Point and the indoor water park. We are mostly interested in the beach area though, and the shopping, sight seeing, etc. Has anyone ever been there? Seen any cool sights? Are there any boating, jet ski, tubing rentals? Fishing on boats? Ferries? Parasailing? Historical sights? Thanks in advance!

yes i just got back from there yes it was very nice and yes their is other stuff to do a couple boat tours and even boat jet ski rentals Cedar point also has a water park also there is a couple of wineries to visit and even para sailing on Lake Erie a lot of this info you can get from the main desk the beach area is not far because Castaway bay is a mile from the Lake and amusement park and shopping is all over and yes there is fishing charters
