Where can i find deep discounted disney tickets?

  • i am heading tomorrow to orlando florida.gonna be there till 31st of december.i've been looking for more then 1 week for some cheaper tickets(base tickets for 3 or for days for disney world)but everything i found is not very cheap.i read somewhere that you can purchase tickets at the gift shops really cheap(15-20$ a ticket).Please help.we are gonna be 3 adults,and looks like the disney tickets are gonna be more expensive than the hotel

    There are NO cheap park tickets to Disney. There are some slight discounts with AAA. Slight. You will never find them for $20 or any where near $20 without it being a scam. Disney keeps a tight hold on their park tickets. There are many many scams out there for them. You can get to the gate and find out they do not allow you enterance in. The tickets are protected by a finger scan. So if I use my 7 day park ticket for only two days, then sell it to you, you wounldn't be allowed into the park with it. Buy them from Disney only. Yes they are expensive. That is just the way it is. Bewarn too, you are going at the busiest time of the year. If the park reaches capacity they will not let you in. Be there when it opens.

The truth is that there are no cheap tickets. as someone mentioned, you can get a discount through AAA but that is about it. and beware of ticket resellers. you either have to sit through a sale pitch and miss part of the day at the parks or you can be sold bad tickets. people get arrested every week here in central florida for selling fake tickets. and since most people are traveling, there is no one to testify against them.

Usually grocery stores have special ticket offers for residents, but they don't ID you. Then again, that's Disneyland in California. Craigslist usually sells tickets for cheap. If they meet you at or near the park it's probably regular.
