Someone who's been to Alton Towers?

Im too scared to go to alton towers?

  • its my birthday present and im taking someone who will go on rides (not like the person i took to thorpe park) i really can't wait to go but now i have a little problem the person im taking (as i just found out) is going to drag me on every ride..... but there is one ride i really don't want to g on. its my first time at alton towers and when i heard about i really wanted to go on but then i saw a video on you tube (off ride) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=05hTIhbLLiE&feature=iv&annotation_id=annotation_423621 on ride http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=clVb0CphL8A&feature=related i don't want to go on that and im scared she will drag me on it. if i get in the line should i go in a little then when we are half way make a runner and go off or should i go on it. ive been on colossus (thorpe park) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U6JQnvRef_M so what should i do?? i want to go on every ride just not oblivion and im too scared to go because she might drag me on it. what should i do??? oh please don't tell me not to go to alton towers because i have been waiting for over a year to go so im going i just don't want to go on one ride oh and im 12

    I am 13 and went to alton towers a few weeks ago. It was amazing.Oblivion isn't as scary as t looks it was really fun. But if you don't want to go on it then no one an force you to and after all it is for your birthday you do what YOU want to do! x

you could just tell her that you cant go onto them, or i think a lot of the time there are long ques for the rides, so if there is a long que for that ride just tell her to leave it and go do something else or keep her away from the ride. (sometimes rides are not as bad as they look) but don't join the ride and run away when your half way there, its not a good thing to do.

The way to handle this is just get on it...your perfectly safe....im going Sunday and have been before.....i was scared of rides there but i sucked it it and did it......face your fears head on and you can over come anything!
