Thorpe park saw ride?
-
okay so i have never been to thorpe park before but im going tomorrow because my freinds have decided i need to go before i turn 18 and so they are forcing me!! lol. You could say i am terrified of rollercoasters, ive been to amusement parks before when i was younger but they were alot less scary haha. So basically if you could just share your experiences of going to thorpe park :D also if you have been on the new saw ride any info would be great!!! like how many people can sit in a row etcetc thanksss :):):)

Answer:
Thorpe park is great, ive been there about 4 times. My favourite rides are Stealth, Nemesis, Colossus, Slammer and Rush. Thorpe park is great but the only let down is the queues and crowds etc. Personally i prefer getting the fast track tickets. Especially the Ultimate fast track ticket. You get to be ahead of everyone else in the queues all day long and its really worth it for £50. Trust me on this one. Its worth the money and saves all the waiting. Me and my friends queued up for about 2 hours (no joke) or more just to ride on Nemesis Inferno because it was a busy day while we watched a few people in the fast track line get on the ride about 5 times while we was waiting just to get on it once. So yeah fast track is your friend at thorpe park (Y) I suggest you get there early preferably by train (there are timetables on the thorpe park website) The traffic on the way there is Horrific. And i also suggest you buy your tickets, fast track tickets etc online. There is a machine outside where you can just put your card in and it gives you the tickets you purchased online. The Queues just to get the tickets are bad enough, it takes about 30-60 minutes of your time while you could be getting ahead of everyone else and going on the rides with shorter queues (unless you get a fast track ticket then you can get on the rides almost straight away) If you decide to go on stealth and you get in the seats and decide you want to get off (because your facing directly towards the actual ride which looks like a suicide wish) don't worry because its not so scary when your up there and its over in a matter of seconds, closing your eyes at first helps you because it has a countdown thing which you really don't want to see before you get up there.. Food-wise Pizza Hut is the best value. Plus its really nice, the only thing is there are queues just to actually sit down and order something (too bad there isn't a fast track for that) so if you want to get lunch get there 30 minutes before so say you have lunch at half 12. get there at 12 etc. And you can order this buffet thing and you get to eat as much as you want! Get a map, nuff said. Also bring something water proof for the water rides and to put your phone, ipod etc in. My new digital camera broke just because i went on tidal wave. so yeah. Don't be put off by staying all the way till closing times at night, thorpe park is beautiful at night, truley stunning i wish it was open all night long :D The rides light up and everything. So for the best and most full experience stay from start to finish. I think thats about all i can say about it really. Me and my friends haven't been on Saw and i don't plan to it looks like a disaster waiting to happen. One last thing, enjoy and i hope i helped in some way [:

i agree with everything love is swheet said apart from i have been on SAW and tbh it is a bit of a let down like everyones saying how its so scary, like the scariest rollercoaster in the world, well its nothing, i think Colossus is scarier and Colossus is more fun if the queue for SAW is over 1 hour, dont wait the first time i went on it i waited 3 hours! so not worth it! have fun though xx
