I need info on the disney careerstart program in california!?

I want to know everything about this program. past expierences. just everything please help. Do the careerstart people get apartments?

It's basically a program to get you a job and indoctrinate into the Disney philosophy. No, they don't give you an apartment. It's just a program for people graduating high school who plan to go to college get a job at Disney. They help with bus tickets and commuting van pools, but that's about it. Just to let you know...Disney hires everyone in the fall to ramp up for the next summer. You will not get any hours or be scheduled for work until spring time when the attendance at Disney goes up. Then they will expect you to work a lot of hours during the summer, but as soon as the kids go back to school, they will cut your hours to 5 a week. I was just speaking to a current Disney employee about a week ago and she confirmed that the practice is still going on. When I worked there I watched all the people they just hired 9 months before quit because they had no work.
