What's the best day to go to Disneyland when you're on summer break?

    Mid week is always a good choice because of people's work schedule, but Disneyland is depending on more local's then ever and even though the local Annual Passholder are blocked out this summer they have offered a $99.00 ticket for three days. Saturdays are blocked out for Deluxe Annual Passholders which means that the wait times for Saturdays have been as short as 15 minutes, it was even that way for the 4th of July. It is kind of hit and miss with the Summer crowds. What we have done in the past is go there expecting the longest lines that way you are prepared for the worst and wont be disappointed. Most California kids are out for summer now, which means the park will be bombarded with teenagers every day, but generally, pick a weekday and you'll avoid an even higher local traffic (as well as the out of town guests). Get there right when the park opens to avoid the majority of the crowd. If your visit is flexible, you might look ahead for a day when the weather looks a bit rainy (not stormy). That should dissuade many of the locals from coming out, further clearing out the park for you. Of course, if you're coming from very far away, this might be impossible. In any event, Disney is very efficient at cycling guests through attractions quickly. Even if the park is packed, you should be able to experience all the rides and attractions that you're interested in. Make use of the Fastpass systems, and if you're visiting both parks, remember that the Fastpass systems are not connected between Disneyland and California Adventure, meaning you can get multiple Fastpasses and plan your day accordingly.

In summer its gonna be pretty much crowded but the best days to go would probably be Tuesday through Thursday.

Hi :) I have an annual pass to Disneyland and my friends and I have been going a lot recently. So I've noticed that it has been less crowded on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. But, as far as quality of the day goes, I would pick Friday. There are usually more events going on on Friday, and at the TLT Dance club, there is usually a good band there on Friday. So it all comes down to whether your priority is to have a less crowded day, or a a more event filled day. But I gurentee that no matter what day you go, you will have a ton of fun there!

First of all there is no slow day to go during the summer season. You would be better off going in september when summer is over and all the kids are back in school. But if you insist on going during summer the i would go on a tuesday or Wednesday, these times are the best to go. Crowds in the summer can be around 60k people, in the off season the numbers are around 25-40k that's a big difference. But with off season the park will have shorter hours and the fast-pass machines may not be in service.
