When are the best days to visit Universal Studios Florida and Seaworld?

Orlando Studios question...?

  • My family is planning on going to Orlando Florida, and stay there for about 4 days. We are planning to go to Orlando Studios, but I found out there are two parks and we would like to go to both of them which are Orlando Studios and Islands of Adventure. So my question is how many days does it take to go to both of the parks and ride most of the rides, etc..? Im either going to get 1 day tickets or the unlimited one which is for 7 days. Also remember 1 day is not 24 hours, we might get tired and take a break. Plus in Orlando Studios there is Shrek 4-d, Terminator 3-d, and other attractions that are movies, do we need to get seperate tickets for those or are they included? Also is there other places our family can go that is suitable for pre-teens, teens, and adults? Not including Disneyworld or Seaworld. Thanks

  • Answer:

Universal Studios itself requires just one day, not even that if the lines are not long. Islands of Adventure on the other hand will require a day without a doubt, possibly two if you are going at a peak time of the year. If you're going at a peak time of the year the crowds will be unimaginable. I, personally, could do Islands of Adventure in one day, but I don't take breaks at all (I even eat while walking), but if you plan on taking breaks or leaving the park early, you will need 2 days for Islands of Adventure if you want to ride everything you want a couple times. You do not need separate tickets for any Universal Studios or Islands of Adventure attraction, they are all included in your day pass (Shred 4-D and Terminator 3-D along with the other rides are all included). Other parks: The only other great Florida park is Busch Gardens Africa in nearby Tampa (its only about 70 miles from Kissimmee, which right beside of Orlando). BGA features great, award winning (Amusement Today Golden Ticket Awards) roller coasters including Montu, SheiKra, and Kumba. SheiKra is one of only two Bolliger & Mabillard Dive Machine roller coasters in the USA, the second of which, Griffon at Busch Gardens Europe is set to open in late spring. Kumba is a very well designed Bolliger & Mabillard sit down coaster which has been said to have "set the industry standards" in its opening year, 1993. Montu is an inverted coaster (meaning your feet dangle), built by world-renowed Bolliger & Mabillard that features a variety of inversions. BGA features rides for thrill riders (adults and teens), and a few kiddie attractions and shows for the younger crowd. In my opinion, Busch Gardens Africa and Islands of Adventure are the best Florida parks.

you would probably need one day for each park... universal studios has a lot of deals now so I would check on there website... As far as the 3-d things in there in the park there included. Ummm besides disney or seaworld, how bout bush gardens..... good luck.... have fun

Both parks can be done in half a day or a full day, depending on your taste in entertainment and attractions. Personally, Islands of Adventure is WAY better than Universal Studios. They have the best coasters and your whole family will love it! However, this park can be seen in less than a day. So the 1 day pass should be fine. Your family may enjoy going on an airboat ride to see gators and other Florida wildlife in their natural habitat! Boggy Creek Airboat Rides are terrific and located in Poincicana, just outside Kissimmee. Their billboards are everywhere. Tickets are $21 per adult and less for kids. Hey! About a year ago, my family and I went to Islands of Adventure. We were planning to spend the day there. Unfortunatly, it was a total mess. We waited over an hour to even go through the gates. When we finally were inside it took literally about 4 hours to go on two rides. The lines were crazy, not so much that they were long, but they didn't move either. Also, the atmosphere was nothing like you would find at Disneyworld. It was very unclean, and crowded. We were so upset we went there, especially with the cost. We had four adults and two children. We wasted approx. $500.00. After we left Islands of Adventure.. we were so aggrivated, that we didn't go to Orlando Studios as planned. Therefore, from my experience, I would not recommend going to Islands of Adventure. I would definately just stick with Disneyworld and Seaworld.

When i went to Florida for my senior trip, I went to Universal studios one day and went to the other park the other day. My friends and i rode almost every ride at Univeral Studios in one day probably about 6-7 hours and we went back the next day to ride about 3 or 4 more rides. You and your family can go to Wet N' Wild or Old Town. Both of these are really nice.
