What are these Alton Towers Rides like?

What Alton Towers Rides Could I Go On?

  • I am 12 and i have been scared of rides all my life but a few weeks ago I built up confidence and went on all the wooden coasters and valhala. I didnt go on Infusion or the big one though. Anyway i have been to Alton towers and went on thi3teen 4 times and i realy enjoyed it. I also went on the flume 3 times , runaway mine train 3 times, rapids twice (not in the same day). Anyway, I want to go on air mostly but am to scared of it aswell as nemesis, oblivion, rita, submission and enterprise. Its not feeling unsafe that scares me though. It is the feeling that the ride gives me! I would realy like to go on nemesis, air, oblivion and rita, i just cant push myself to go on them. I know people say "just go on and if you dont like it then dont go on again" but that doesnt work for me unfortunately. P.S i went on revolution and realy didnt like it at all! Any advise?

Air is incredibly gentle and comfortable (I find) and it really is more like flying. Nemesis is a great coaster and was the first coaster with a loop I ever did Oblivion - the worst part is probably the wait before the drop (but by watching it and counting the seconds you can predict the drop easily) - go on it, count down for the drop so you are prepared and then it's kind of like a drop tower but the drop is over so quickly you don't have a chance to freak out Rita - it's just fast. It's no scarier than the runaway mine train track wise..but just sped up Submission is alright - I personally only go if the queue is short. Pirate ship that goes upside down is how it feels Enterprise - can't say I'm a fan of that either. Not sure why but think the inability to move (centrifugal force holding you in place) threw me off a bit The only way you are going to get on these rides is just to go on them. Take a friend or family member with you and tell them not to let you leave the queue. Once you join the queue you are going on! (The waiting is where the nerves build - once the ride starts it's too late to back out, too late to freak out so you just sit there and realise how awesome the ride really is!

Well dude you are doing good but if your that scared start with Thorpe park it has got less rides then alton towers like... saw or stealth maybe for a good boast SAW ALIVE

You don't need to worry about Air my friend. It looks kinda scary at first, but its a really smooth ride and if you enjoyed 13, then I'd highly suggest you go for it, I'm sure it will become one of your favourite rides! I personally love nemesis, but I recon its one of the scarier rides. You get thrown around a lot on nemesis. Rita isn't as bad as it looks. the worst is over in the first few seconds. If you're worried about Rita, just don't go on the front seat, that way you won't get the air in your face (I personally love the front seat! :D). Oblivion is ok, but its not worth the wait, the drop lasts about 2 seconds and worst part id the bit before the drop when they stop you on the very edge for about 3 seconds. This ride tends to have a massive wait, so if you're enthusiastic, I'd advise you to do it once, and then choose whether or not to do it again. I'm not really a big fan of Oblivion. Enterprise is a piece of cake, its far easier to go on than any other ordinary feris wheel. I'd suggest you go on that as many times is you like! I went on it the first time with my (now ex) girlfriend, and she made me go on it with her another 3 times! xD I've never been on submission, Im not even sure which ride it is, so I can't help you there sorry. Hope I've helped!
