How does the Flash Pass work at Six Flags Great Adventure and is it worth it?

    It's really simple, and SO worth it. The only bad thing is that the line to get the Flash Pass is usually pretty long... but it might be the only ride you wait in all day! When you "buy" your Flash Pass, you tell them how many people it's for (and the price increases for each person). This way, everyone in your party can use the same Flash Pass. To use it, you go to any ride that it is on the Flash Pass system (not every ride is, but all of the good rides are). There is a board with the Flash Pass logo on it, and I think it says something like "reserve"? Anyway, you scan your little Flash Pass on the board and it beeps. A few seconds later your Flash Pass will tell you what time you can ride that ride. It will also beep a few minutes before that time so that you can make it to the ride! When your time is ready, you go through the special Flash Pass entrance (it's usually the exit, but not always) and show your Flash Pass to the attendant. He or she checks to make sure it's the right time, the right ride, and the right number of people. It's that easy! On some rides you have to sit in an assigned row that is always set aside for Flash Pass users. On other rides, though, you just go into the line and can pick wherever you want. Have fun!

it doesn't work with every ride but it cuts down the wait by a lot... the only bad thing is that is makes all the people in the real line want to shoot you... only joking overall its probably worth it

you scan it before you go on the rides, and the guy at the front of the flash pass line checks your pass (for what i dont know ive never had one) but honestly you should wait to arrive at six flags around 3 pm, eat/drink before you leave and during the car ride there. then go on the safari (it closes at 4) and go in the park then. go on the smaller attractions (houdini, spinner, buccaneer boat, FERRIS WHEEL - if its a nice day out- such a cool view of the park etc.) and around 6-7 pm hit the big roller coasters, there's barely anyone around anymore to ride the big things at night (kingda ka, superman ultimate flight, batman, medusa,nitro, el torro, etc.)so you wont even need a flash pass and you can ride things like 10 times straight without waiting in line . if you plan on getting wet , go in the sunshine and wear a bathing suit UNDER your clothes, make sure you have something over it., then go on the movie effects waterworks bridge, the one closest to the ride, you get SOAKED!!! on congo rapids you have like a 2/12 chances of getting wet. =/ bring a plastic bag (or ask for one at a store) so your electronics( cell phoneblahblahblah) dont get wet.

You set a reservation for a ride say you want to go on Superman Ultimate Flight. you would set the time in on your flash pass thing and then at the said time you get in the flash pass line and then you take it to a person who confirms it and then you get on the ride. It is worth it becasue you can wait for other good rides and then get on the other good rides too. It is perfect if you want to get on all the coasters in one day, though not all coasters have flash pass such as the american egale. The price is reasonable becasue you can use it as much as you want. I belive it is around 15-20 dollars per person if it is 1 person but it you get more people it is less per person.

there great and totally worth it. they give you a time to be at a certain ride and you get to cut in line and not get in trouble but they only give a certain amount out so get it quick. it gives you a chance to ride more rides.
