How can i get permission to film on roller coasters at Busch Gardens Tampa?
-
The reason of why i am asking this is because I was going to make a busch gardens walkthrough video for youtube. Which means From the beginning of the day stand in line for coasters and get on them and film, and walk off telling the if the ride is recommended for them. (Gwazi, Montu, Sheikra, Cheetah Chase, Scorpion, and Kumba) If anyone can give me an e-mail to which i can e-mail busch gardens about this matter. Another Reason is because I'm making a video for my relatives that never went to busch gardens, and they would like to see what its like on their best attractions without them actually going on them, plus it will have commentary. Oh and for CoasterForce.com Thanks, Armando, Roller Coaster Fanatic

Answer:
You can get permission to video on rides IF and ONLY IF you have something to give back to the park in return (if there is something in it for them!!) - i.e. if you are working on a new tv show to feature one of their rides, etc. They will NOT let a "general public" person such as yourself record on rides with permission because you are not promoting their park or rides in a professional setting. You can, if you want, email PR. They are the ones to deal w/ getting permission for on-ride video taking, but they will not let you. If you are a nobody to them, they will tell you to follow the same rules as everyone else. CoasterForce.com already has on-ride POV's for those rides. If you want more POV's check out Theme Park Review's videos (you can go to their website http://www.themeparkreview.com/coastertube/memberprofile.php?mid=2 to view them or on YouTube their "screenname"/ID is themeparkreviewTPR). I am not sure about CoasterForce, but Theme Park Review usually have their cameras in HQ or HD and are mounted on the ride to give you a great video to view, they also have permission from the park to video and the videos are taken legally. Edit: I do not have the email address for PR. Usually it's somewhere on the website for most amusement parks, but I cannot find it for Busch Gardens Tampa. You might be able to contact them via their "contact us" page - http://buschgardens.com/Bgt/Corporate/Contact.aspx Good luck.

No you cant do that unless like the person above says, you have a good reason for the park. Bringing cameras on the ride is hazardous thats why they dont allow it in the first place. I recommend you sneak it or just dont bring it in case you drop it or something.
