Disney Studios or Universal Orlando?

Universal Studios or Disney Land in Orlando, florida?

  • Ok, so my family is now planning to go to florida this march, and we are torn between disney land and universal studios florida / universals islands of adventure. The ages in my family are 8, 15, 14, 17, and two adults. So is the extra cost for admition for the Universal studios bundle worth it? Or should we go to the cheaper costing Disney World?

    It depends i guess. I mean Disney does have four theme parks so if you get the park hopper for all the parks then it will be a fun experience (but you will need the whole day so get there early) but if you plan on going in just one disney park then it won't be that fun. Disney is mostly intended for a younger audience and really the only one who would truly enjoy it a lot is the 8 year old. Universals Studios has two theme parks: Islands of Adventure and Universals. Universals is more intended for a younger audience and has mostly shows, the only good rides are rip rocket and mummy. Not much else going on in that park. Islands of adventure is very fun and more for teens and adults. It has good coasters and good fun rides. I personally prefer Islands of Adventure, it's fun and you dont have to leave the park

not to sound mean disney land isnt in orlando its in cali disney world is in florida. i would choose honestly disney world their are alot of rides and is a classic universal only has 3 or 4 rides and is super small

Someone else pointed this out, it's Disney World not Disneyland. Disneyland is in California, Disney World is in Florida. Disney World would be much better suited for your family. The 8-year-old would love meeting the characters and the teens would love the roller coasters across the four parks & two water parks! Disney has a lot more services, and although people think it's only for little kid's, it's for everyone! Universal is OK, but Disney is a lot better and you can get a good deal on the park tickets if you stay at one of their hotels.

Ok so i went to Orlando Florida last year! I went to all the parks there [Universal Studios, Disneyland, Seaworld, and moree.....]!!! I say you should visit both of them! But if you were to pick one, I would say you should go to Disneyland! But Disneyland there has about 4-6 different parks! I went to disneyland the one with the rides and everything, and Disney Epcot!
