Small problem - my friend bought me a ticket to go to Alton Towers...I'm terrified...what do I do?

Have to agree with Caroline - Go you will have a great time, and you dont have to go on any of the rides if you dont want to! I would explain to him that there is a good chance you wont go on any of the rides though!

What are you terrified of, the rides or going with him? If it's the rides, don't be!!! There are loads of things you can go on that aren't scary. Tell him that you are scared of certain rides and would rather not go on them. I love Alton Towers, i live abroad now and don't get the chance to visit the UK when it's open, I would love to take my husband we work all summer through and can't take a holiday until November and it closes then!! Go on, go mad and let your hair down, enjoy yourself!!!! I promise you, you will love it!!!!!!!!!!!

why do you not want to go it's great if you don't like fast rides he can always get a single rider ticket which means he can access the rides faster - but there is a spa there to so you could book yourself some of the treatments and its a huge park area to - its does seem a bit strange to have booked it without your admitting to not liking theme parks are you on the same wavelength
