Dorney/Hershey on July 4th?
-
OK, so I've heard VERY mixed things about these two small PA parks being crowded/not crowded on the actual day of July 4th. Many people post that it will be insane, but anyone who has actually gone on the 4th seems to report that the crowds are relatively light. I assume this is because most people celebrate the 4th in a more traditional way, with family, picnicking, etc. However, I can also see the logic of it being very crowded because the whole country has the day off. Speculation aside, could anyone who has ACTUALLY attended on July 4th (to either of these parks) report how it was? I'm not sure how it being on a Monday this year will affect July 4th crowds compared to years when it falls on other days of the week, but any personal knowledge would be helpful. Thanks!
