Answer:
-How crowded will it be? It's going to be 10's all the way across the board. This is one of the busiest weeks of the year at Orlando theme parks due to all the schools being out for holiday break. -What will wait times be like? Expect anywhere from 1-3 hours for major rides like Harry Potter, Space Mountain, Toy Story Mania, Test Track, Rock N Roller Coaster, and Soarin. Fantasyland rides like Peter Pan, Winnie the Pooh and Dumbo will all have well over 1 hour waits as well. Some rides that are less popular, or that board more quickly will have waits from 30-60 minutes, but I wouldn't expect anything less than that unless it's a show in a large theater like Philharmagic, Indiana Jones, Flights of Wonder, etc. -Are glasses allowed? No rides require you to take off your glasses. It is simply wearing them at your own risk, and the park assumes no responsibility. -Solutions for avoiding crowds? Go to the park very first thing in the morning, the moment it opens, and go immediately to a popular ride to get a fast pass. From there, go straight to another popular ride where you will be able to walk on. When you get off that, you can use your fastpass. You've done 2 popular rides with no waits, and that's huge. At Disney Parks, fast passes are 100% free. You can only carry so many at once, so you should always have them if you're able to. At Universal, you pay a fee but you walk on every ride. It may be worth it to do. -Will I be able to finish all the rides? No. Even on an uncrowded day, it's hard to fit in every single ride in every single park. Your best bet is to get a guide book ahead of time & mark the rides that are most important to you. Prioritize those, and you'll be able to do the things you most want to do. -What will the weather be like? In December in Florida, nobody can say for sure. It's sometimes very nice during the day & cold at night. It's sometimes cold all day. One thing for sure, is that it's never hot at night there in the winter. I'd prepare for a max of 24 degrees Celsius during the day, and 5 degrees Celsius at night. -I can't help you much with the hotel, I've never stayed there. I can say that all the hotels are pretty close to each other & most provide transportation to the parks. If yours does not for some reason, there will be cabs readily available for you. They cost at most, $15 each way. My biggest tip is to expand the time you're willing to wait for rides, most of the good ones are going to be at least that long.
