Six Flags Over Georgia Flash Pass?
-
We're planning a trip to Six Flags Over Georgia in about 3 weeks. I've read the site about the flash passes and the 3 levels and their prices. I'm wondering if someone can explain to me in a little more detail about how each one works... more detail that the site provides. From what I understood so far is the basic one allows you to check in and then go do something else during the wait time rather than standing in line (thus stand in line for another ride and then go back to the first one). Which to me, means you basically wait in line for one and ride 2 and then so on. For the next option it just says less wait time and the platinum option it says the least wait time and you can ride each one twice in a row. But, I'd like a little more detail mostly about how the second and third option work?? There's really a big price difference. Can you just run through the park in the beginning and flash everything you want to ride and then go back and ride them? Or do you just go up and show your pass and ride whatever you want whenever??? Please explain. Thanks so much.

Answer:
ok so there are three types of flash passes. The regular, gold, and platinum. regular- you still have to wait as long as the line is, but you reserve it. So basically you can walk around do do other stuff (go on other rides, eat, ect.) and when its your time you go through the flash pass lane. gold- you pick a ride and the wait is really fast, (that simple). platinum-you pick a ride and your allowed to ride it twice. so when you ride the ride and your getting off, tell the person you have platinum and you'll be able to stay in your seat for another time.you get on basically right away. When you buy a flash pass they give you a little device with a list of roller coasters on it. it has a clip so i clipped it onto my belt loop and stuck it in my pocket. They don't include the smaller rides because they don't have as big of a line. But when you have your pass you go through the names of rides and you pick a ride. if you have regular it will tell you the wait time of the ride. (the wait time is usually shorter though.) If you have platinum or gold you can just get on the ride. I got regular when i went with two of my friends an it cost us about 20-35$ a person. ( sorry i forgot lol)but the regular worked out great. we would reserve a ride, go on a different ride, and it would be ready by then. you can use the pass as many times as you want for any ride, unless they close a ride for the pass for a day. But they get expensive. the regular is pretty cheap, the gold is like 100$ and the platinum is like 150 or 175$.
