How does a Six Flags Flash Pass (regular) work?

How does the regular flash pass work at six flags magic mountain?

  • Is it worth getting if im going during spring break. How much will the total cost be if about 4 or 5 of us are getting the passes?

  • Answer:

It's a Q Bot system now so reserving spots is easier. Q Bot is a small device that allows you to book any ride with the system available with just a few buttons. From anywhere in the park, you can reserve a spot for whichever ride you want. Return to the ride at the time indicated on the device, and you'll get expedited entry. With the regular Flash Pass, the reservation times are equivalent to the actual wait time (If Tatsu's line was 2 hours, for example, the return time would be 2 hours later as well). Gold reduces the wait on the device, plus allows access to X2. Platinum has the same features as Gold, but allows you to ride twice in a row and access to Green Lantern. Regular passes start at $45, Gold at $70, and Platinum at $105 (each device allows up to 6 people to use it, but you have to pay an extra fee for each person).
