How much money should a person take for food and souvenirs for a 7 day trip to Disney world ?

  I think you will need a minimum of $140 per person, just for food each day. In the parks, you are looking at around $10 for the least expensive meal, a hamburger at a counter service restaraunt. Now, if you want to do nicer places for dinner, look to spend at least $20 per person, even for just a hamburger. The food can get really costly, if you can, I would recommend the dining plan. Since you plan to eat in the parks, it will save you money and you won't need to take as much. I'm not sure how many people you are taking, but you can assume it won't be less than $140 for each person to eat for the trip. But it will likely be a lot more. Souvenirs is a whole different story. If you are in to trading pins, I think they are up to about $7 a pin now, so that can add up quick as well. T-shirts are about $20, snow globes around $70, etc. How much you will spend, greatly depends on what you plan to buy. I would expect to spend $50 to $100 per day on extra on all the different things from pictures, to stuffed characters, etc.
