What is a reasonable price for Super Bowl tickets?

  • I really want to get my husband tickets to the Super Bowl. I found a bidding site where the price starts at 3999 for two tickets and continues to go down, nitrobids.com. My question is what is a reasonable price to pay? I don't want to over pay but I really want to get these tickets for my husband. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

    I have been looking for Super Bowl Tickets myself. I checked out the website and did some looking into the tickets. Nitrobids.com states that they are upper-end tickets. These sell for about $2000 apiece. However from past experience these prices will be going up as the season comes closer to an end. If you are planning on buying now I would keep an eye on the current price. My curiosity got the better of me and I did purchase some bids so I can keep an eye on it as well. As you can buy tickets for about $4000 a pair now you won't want to wait too long to purchase. Just keep in mind that once the tickets hit $3500 on nitrobids they become a good deal and you probably will have to do some competing for them. Hope this helps.

The best price that I was able to find for Super Bowl tickets is about $3000 apiece. If you found them for cheaper than that, I would get on it.

Well what's reasonable is what someone will pay for them. You also have to take into account where the seats are. If you have "prime" seats they are going to be a lot more than the last row in the nose-bleed section of the End-Zone. So you have to compare what people are asking vs what they are actually selling for based on the seat location. Depending on the ticket site they may or may not have a way to search for completed sales. As reference the "face value" of the Super Bowl Ticket is around $400, but unless you are lucky enough to get that you are always going to have to pay a premium.

Thats sound like a way cool site. And 3999 is a pretty decent price for tickets especially if it's going to keep going lower I would definately get them! I'm sure you're hubby will be thrilled!
