Does anyone still eat kinder eggs?

Does anyone eat eggs?

  • so i was wondering if someone eats eggs sunny side up are they more likely to get a virus, a parasite or sick cuz doesnt sunny side up mean its not fully coocked that the yok is still semiraw?

  • Answer:

(People are telling you how great eggs are because of that is the question you ask about in the title. Not everyone reads the detailed question below it.) And as for your question - yes, eggs sunny side up - or any other style that doesn't fully cook the both the yolk and white may lead to food borne illness IF that particular egg contained harmful bacteria like salmonella. It increases the chances of illness, but does not guarantee you will get something. Salmonella is eggs is different from other sources because the salmonella bacteria is, if infected, inside the egg - not on the outside of the food. So the safest method is to fully cook the egg until hard inside and out. But - there are millions of people who eat undercooked eggs such as being sunnyside up (my preferred method, too!) and take the risks and in fact may have contracted very mild infections in the past and not known it was from the eggs. The degree of illness is variable and is worse in young children, the elderly and those with already compromised immune systems. BTW, I have not heard of any contracting a parasite from eggs, cooked or uncooked. I hope that helps,

I like mine over-easy, but I don't eat the egg-white. I also eat eggs that you bring to a quick boil in the shell in water. Soft eggs, you break them into a cup and mix the egg-yolk with the egg-white, they look raw and runny, but they're (Warm), add salt & eat....yummy! Have never gotten sick with runny eggs. I love to eat raw oysters too & you?

Sunnyside and Easy over are both pretty close in the way they are cooked. The yellow part of the egg is not fully cooked, but you cannot get any virus or parasite from eating the yoke runny. The whites of the egg have to be cooked for sure. Sunnyside eggs are best for dipping your toast into the yoke.........yummmm!!

I love soft eggs, ours are safe to eat. Check with your egg supplier, to see if yours are.
