Can you be allergic to Crab meat?

Can I get a pound of pre-picked crab meat at the seafood depart in a grocery store?

• I want to make crab cakes but i dont want to make it from a can, i want fresh meat. But I dont want to have to pick it. Can I get it at the seafood place in like a giant or something? Or do they do it else where?

  Yes! They usually will have it freshly picked. However, I do not think that they will have a pound. If you need a pound just buy numerous of the size they do have. It will not be cheap though. Think about it, crab isn't cheap, and when you want someone to do the dirty work (even though, I find it fun) its going to be more expensive. If your local grocers don't have it, some seafood places may let you buy it pre-picked. Happy Hunting:D
