Why do different people like different flavors?

Why do people intrinsically like different flavors?

  • You always hear someone say they hate something, then the next guy says its their favorite food. Personally, something like Tequila makes me just gag; it's so bad. But I have a non-alcoholic buddy with Tequila as his favorite drink... how does that work?

  • Answer:

Combination of factors. What is most available in the environment. Then customarily what you have been taught to eat or have been taught to make. Then what perhaps your body might need inside of it. Conditioning X Environmental Factors. Just last week, I had to buy a box of Corona because I had limes at the house for another recipe and it made me crave Corona's because I drank lots of Corona's with limes back when i was young and insane.
