How old are these charles chips tin cans, what was in them?

• I have lovingly recieved two charles chips tin cans. I don't know much about them, so I am looking for a little detail. I have researched and found that there used to be delivery trucks, and such. I think this is very interesting...and I am wondering what year and what my cans carried. The first one is a cream speckled color with red writing. It has the logo and up under it says "A Better Name For a Better Potato chip". It has two towns listed (Mountville, PA and Calhoun, KY) It has the weight listed, how it was cooked as well as to keep lid on to insure freshness. The other one I have is cream colored and it has a dark green (hunter green maybe) It just has the logo and up under it says Musser's Potato Chips INC. General offices Mountville, PA 17554. It does NOT have the weight, etc like the other one. Also, I read that it was not just chips but also cookies and pretzles that were carried by Charles Chips. Any insight and information on these tin cans would be very much appreciated.

  I also have a Charles Chips can. Mine is cream and speckled with what now is brownish, might have been deep red originally. It also has Mussers and Mountville, Pa. on it. It also has the weight and states that it contains potato chips-16 oz. I have had the can since around 1966-67, and have used it to store my cornmeal for years and years. I have no idea what it might be been worth. Hubby says it costs somewhere between $2.50 to $4.00.The bottom of mine started to rust and leave rust looking rings wherever I sat it, so I put a ring of thick tape around the bottom of the can. The very bottom is also rusty looking. Hubby says a salesman came by and he bought it. It's been so long ago, I didn't even remember that! Sorry I can't be of more help.
