  • anyplace you know to print them or other ways to get them?

  • Answer:

Be resourceful; the public library has computers that can be used by the public. Printing anywhere will cost you, but its fairly inexpensive. Other places includes Kinko's, and small computer/internet shops/cafes that let you use their computers also have printers.

Before printing out coupons at the library, be sure to ask about cost. Our local library charges fifty cents for b&w pages and seventy-five cents for color. Most online coupons are in color, which makes printing them at the library rather pointless. Visit food sites such as Kraft, Pillsbury, Proctor and Gamble, Betty Crocker, Gorton's, etc, and *ask* them to send you some coupons. Most sites have e-mail access -- simply check under "contact us." I know for a fact that you can get coupons via mail through P&G as they've sent me some in the past. Short of buying a printer and paying for ink, you'd probably be better off subscribing to a local or city newspaper. Most coupon inserts come out on Wednesdays, with additional coupons available in the Sunday papers. Many newspapers will include the Sunday paper in the regular subscription, which nets you double the number of coupons. Ask friends and neighbors for their coupons. You would be amazed at the number of people who never clip a one... I know, that's how I get most of my coupons... :) Last but not least, make friends with the clerks in the convenience stores. Come 12:01 am Monday morning, they are no longer allowed to sell the Sunday paper. If you ask, they'll most likely give you the coupon inserts. For what it's worth, try to get your coupons in any way other than online. I've printed a few coupons in my day and found the cost of ink to be somewhat prohibitive. Get 'em free whenever you can. And don't expect all those coupons for free items like you see on Extreme Couponers. You have to pay to join those sites, which means coupons are being transferred at a cost. In some places, that's illegal. People are clamping down on such activity.... I know, it's only coupons, but what it amounts to is theft. Your best bet to stretch food dollars is to match coupons to sales. I do this every week, because I'm feeding three of us on $138 a month. Last month alone I brought in over $250 worth of food for which I did not pay -- thanks to matching coupons to sales, taking advantage of BOGO's, and doubling those coupons whenever possible. It's tricky, but you can do this. Good luck to you.

Do you have any friends or neighbors with a printer? Email them the link and have them print them for you. That's what I've done, email a link to my husband at work (office job), and he prints it out for me.

Go to a library and see if you will have access to a printers. Pur Post shop will do that I believe, but I don't know how to do that.

I just did this. Go to a computer store and buy a flash drive. It cost me $6. stick it in your USB port and save the coupons there. Bring the flash drive to the library and they will print them for free. I live in S.F., CA.
