What little food treats do you suggest me and my fiancée get to take back to our hotel room?
-
For the record, we've booked a hotel room for the night, on the eighteenth of March, (just coming up), so we can be together all night, on the night of my fiancée's eighteenth birthday. We're already getting takeout fish and chips- (which, for the record, she's gunna sneak into her handbag, and we're gunna enjoy back in our hotel room, 'cos we both adore chippy meals, and believe it or not, we're both nuts about chips with curry sauce! Mm-mm-mm-mm-mm! Makes my mouth water just at the thought of it!) Anyway, the fish and chips takeout's a dead-cert- (it's gotta be done!), and I'm also planning on getting my other half a birthday cake. What other little food treats do you suggest we get for that night- (sweet, savory or drinks-wise?) We'll be hitting Tesco's the night I arrive in Aldershot, and I shall have about thirty quid to spend on the night, so please don't suggest nothing what's too dear, ta. Any suggestions, please? I'd really appreciate your angles on this one, please, guys. Much obliged. Peace and love. Be lucky.

Answer:
oh my you had me on fish and chips YUM!!! How about go to a pastry shop and get a few of those individual cakes or other pastries, and you can cut them up and share? Or maybe the grocery and go to the candy aisle and get something you have never tried before? There might be something! Have you ever bought an "expensive" bottle of water? That would go great with fish, it wont take away the flavor, yet you are trying something "fancy". Have fun!!!

Fizzy grape juice (shloer), vol-au-vents (basically cheese/sausages on sticks, little tartlets, melon and parma ham, other finger food), profiteroles, strawberries and whipped cream. These are inexpensive and can be bought ready made.
