What are the names for GF foods for gluten-free diet?

Would eating a diet consisting of more raw foods assist in enzyme count, thus reducin alcohol damage to liver?

  • OK, enzyme levels in the liver heighten after drinking alcohol. And this heightening of enzymes causes the body to overwork itself in the production of more enzymes. It is said that raw foods are the only foods which contain enzymes. So if you eat a raw food ie the raw salmon in sushi, would those enzymes go to your liver, and assist i the removal of toxins in the alcohol, from the body? But then again, it is said that raw foods only contain enough enzymes to digest that portion of raw food consumed. BQs: Why is it that there are only enough enzymes in a portion of raw food to assist with the digestion of that portion? Do the enzymes of your body not chime in and help to digest it, resulting in an excess of enzymes. Then again, the excess enzymes will go towards digesting non-raw foods. This begs the question: if our diet contained a higher portion of raw foods, would our liver be less damaged (than those eating more non-raw foods) if we both drank the same amount of alcohol? Thanks in advance! :) (Ps, I tried to create an argument, but there are too many premises which I am unsure of, and therefore haven't back up, so it's more of a argument-question lolol)

D The following may be helpful. It is based on my experience. I had elevated liver enzymes back in 2009. Nobody could tell me what that meant. When I moved and I received similar test results my doctor said he wanted me to have an ultrasound of my liver. The Ultrasound confirmed that I had fatty liver. However, he said the only thing I could do about it was lose weight. I did some research on my own and found a number studies that said you could cure fatty liver with supplements. I tried them for a month and also lost 20 lbs and my enzyme level came back normal. To lose the weight I also used the following. Genistein Soy Complex, Quercetin 500 plus, and Super Strength Resveratrol Concentrate 250mg all form a local health food store. They were pretty expensive, but helped a lot I feel. I recommend talking to your doctor before taking any of these supplements as there are so many interactions these days it is important to check. I still need to loose another 20 lbs but after over a month of not taking any of the supplements my tests are still good. The supplements I took were Rutin, Inositol Caps, and Dill Seed. I purchased all of these online from Swanson Vitamins. One person I talked with also said that Milk Thistle worked for his friend that had alcohol induced liver disease, but I didn't try it. I plan on creating a website on this in the future at the site in the resource box with more details. That's my two cents on this. Hope it helps, D
