    Bloody Mary This is one of those drinks that every bartender has their own special way of making. It's fun to develop your own special twist on this one. Here is a basic recipe: 1 1/2oz vodka couple dashes of Worcestershire sauce couple dashes of Tobasco sauce - depending on how spicey you like it. pinch of salt and pepper. Some people like to substitute celery salt. 1/4oz lime juice. Use lemon juice if you prefer. 4oz tomato juice. Mix ingredients together and shake cold. Strain into a pint glass. Many people like a salted rim on the glass. Garnishing this drink is just as fun. I have seen everything from lemon and lime wedges, cocktail olives and onions, a celery stick, to poached prawns.

I'm not sure it's a recipe, but it's how I made them when I bartended: !.5-2 ozs of decent chilled vodka (grey goose?), V-8 (or generic knock off of it), 1.5 tspns worchestershire sauce, celery salt to taste, dash of tabasco or hot sauce, season-all salt (that funky orange stuff you might use on steaks or fries?), lemon & lime and a dash of pepper. Tweak as needed- shake the holy begeezes out of it- and enjoy responsibly & thoroughly!
