Should Budweiser and Coors be sued for false advertising by called their product BEER when its just WATER?

I agree with you koonto, I'd rather drink squirrel urine then a miller light. Now days they all taste "light". It was good when we were young and did not know better but as with age we start having better taste buds from food to beer. I have found depending on where you live to keep trying other brands till you find your best tasting even micro brews. They are a little more $ but worth it for flavor. I am in Illinois and have been hooked on Lienenkugels red lager which is from Wisconsin. They make other flavors too. It's not micro brew but not available everywhere and distributed with/by Miller.

The reason there are so many mass produced light lagers is because people keep buying them. As soon as the "lite" variations of the major brands went on the market they began to outsell the rather bland originals. One theory for the success of light lagers over every other variety of beer in this country is the hot humid summers most of this country has. It could be worse: before the 1980s boom in microbrews the only alternative to the mass market brands were rather tepid imports like Heinken and Molsons.

It is not generally known but the water companies are suing the "beer" companies for the false representation of water. The water companies maintain that the water must be of a sufficient guaranteed standard to be at least almost drinkable, which, the "beer" companies cannot. On a sliding scale of drinkability of 1 to 500 with rats piss being at 5 and European beer at 499, American "beer" is at minus 65.

This is why I won't drink it anymore. It makes you piss the whole time and doesn't give you the buzz it used to. I only drink imported like Heineken, Stella, Bohemia, Becks. I can drink 3-4 of those without having to piss like a racehorse.
