How hard is it to become a bartender at TGI Fridays?

I'm 18 years old and I am moving to Manhattan soon. I wait tables but since rent is crazy in New York I was wondering how hard it is to become a bartender at TGI Fridays. I know it's not impossible and I know that some places would rather you have no experience so they can teach you their way and not have to fix bad habits, but I also heard that TGI Fridays usually hires bartenders from within.
