Has anyone been to San Miguel in Ibiza?

Anyone know where I can get San Miguel Beer in Kansas City?

• We are having a reunion of some of the sailors form the Enterprise and would like to have a little adult beverage just like the "olden days". When we would visit the Philippines we would drink San Miguel and that is what we would like to have at our get-together. I am in the Kansas City area, and I know this is a shot in the dark, but...... Does anyone KNOW where I can get some San Miguel in the KC area? I have tried some of the obvious spots like Lukas, Gomers and Royal, as well as the Manilla Grocery. Has anyone come across this beer anywhere in the metro area? If so I'll owe you a cold one.

  I feel for ya guy. Former New Jersey sailor here 82-88. The way I found San Miguel in the states was by asking people that worked in the Philippine grocery store. Don't know how much luck you'll have in KC though. If you really get hard up I can send a couple boxes from here (I live in Iloilo City) one island over from the brewery in Bacolod city on the next island) so the beer here is always fresh. But it will cost like hell to send a balikbuyan box there (Abt $80). I moved over here in 2002 and am retired now. Will be thinking about you while I am having some SMB pilsens tonight and native BBQ sticks. Hope someday you can make a trip over here on vacation. It's still very cheap living over here.
