Can I bring some canned food to India?

In India are there any food that is thought to have special qualities, which bring them luck or wealth an stuf

    sadly there are a few things that older and less educated people still believe will bring them, luck, strength, power, virility. mostly they are endangered animal parts like eating sea turtle eggs will make a man more powerful and better in bed (sososo soosso stupid! and sad for these turtles that are disappearing) tiger anything, and elephant anything.

I don't know about good luck but I've heard a few negative things. 1-Never eat anything with sesame in it that someone else makes because you will get all of their bad luck. I guess it's ok if you buy the item or if it's made by someone within your immediate family (ok if your mom made it but not your aunt). 2-Pregnant women should not eat papaya because they'll go into labor. 2a-Young girls should not eat papaya because their period will start too early. 3-Never pass the salt directly to someone. Always place the salt on the table or counter and let them pick it up. Salt exchanged from hand to hand will cause a fight between the two people. That's all i can think of. mari
