How do you make the perfect cup of tea? and what is the best brand of tea bags?

Answer:
tea is a bit of a personal choice. My ex used to like it so strong you had to eat it with a spoon, so i had to squeeze out every last bit of the teabag and only add a tiny bit of milk. I automatically made it the same way for my sister and she spat it out and said it was horrible! probably best just to swill the teabag round a bit, squeeze it gently on the side of the cup then add a bit of milk, preferably semi skimmed in my opinion! Dont think there's much difference in tea bags - I just like bog standard PG tips or tesco's own, but more of a connisseur might prefer a posh indian one

I love PG Tips. Tea bag in cup, pur water in and then a wee bit of milk. Not too strong, not too weak. Beautiful!!

Boiling water onto a PG tips teabag with one spoonful of sugar. Leave to brew for a minute, then stir, squeeze on the side of the mug and remove. Add milk, a good stir (clockwise of course!) and then enjoy! If you're doing it properly of course, a pre-warmed teapot and some Royal Blend from my local independant Tea and Coffee shop (Assam , China and Lapsang Souchong) go a long way..! Off to make another brew now... mmmmm... Happy Drinking! :)

I'm a big fan of Twinings tea, I love their Earl Grey tea, I love all of their teas, Irish Breakfast is great, I recommend it. I usually just put water in my tea kettle and heat it to the certain tea recommendations. It usually depends all on what tea you use, some water you boil (black tea) some water you heat just until boiling (white tea).

I love PG Tips, and some of the teas in the Twinings range such as Earl Grey and Chai...although I have to admit that peppermint tea is one of my favourites

Ditch the tea bags as they are full of tea dust. Get yourself proper tea leaves or granules from a supermarket (or Asian food store, Indian tea's the best). Pore in boiling water into a teapot (to warm it up) empty it and put a couple of table spoons of tea leaves pour in water (about 200ml per two table spoons of tea) you can also drop a couple of leaves of fresh mint in it - close the lid and cover with a cosy or a towel and leave to stand for 10/15 min. Pour milk in a mug first then pour in a little tea (to your taste) and add boiling water (add honey or sugar to your taste) Enjoy!
