Where do the water from bottled water come from?

How come people drink bottled spring water for health reasons but happy to drink,beer,cold drinks , diet Coke?

• Millions of people insist that their family only drink bottled water instead of normal good healthy tap water and yet they will go out or at home drink ,beer, soda, Coke and flavoured fruit drinks that contain 99 % tap water .How come that's ok.

  Television, honey. We see on TV constant adds telling us that tap water is filthy, and that if we REALLY cared about our family, we would by them over-priced bottled water, or filters. Meanwhile, the plastic water bottles have filled our landfills to overflowing. Also, most people don't realize that bottled water usually comes from a tap... just not a tap in our homes. We see celebrities drinking beer and diet sodas, and we see commercials for them constantly... and we are led to believe that we have no chance at a fun and fulfilling life without them. Basically, it's a repeat of the old "but all the COOL kids are doing it!" argument. If these people could see what these drinks actually contain, they might not be so quick to guzzle them. But then again, we are a nation that does what our TVs tell us to do.
