Does Snapple's Diet Green Tea "Metabolism" actually fuel your metabolism like it says it should?

Which of these diet sodas are the best?

  • The reason I ask this question is because, 1. I love Jarritos, made in Mexico, even though I reside in Illinois and am Caucasian, which are supposedly healthier than other sodas because they have real sugar in them and not High Fructose Corn Syrup, but they still make you gain weight if you drink them all the time...which I do, AND, 2. Because I just want to drink healthier things. I already eat healthy. I don't eat sugary foods except on holidays, I get plenty of fruits and vegetables, enough but not too many carbs, plenty of protein, getting better with fiber amounts, and even healthy fats (like olive oil and from fish). Before anyone says "try switching to water", I'll say that I truly do drink about 6 glasses of water a day, no B.S. But, I also drink about a liter and a half of Jarritos (Mandarin flavor) every day. On top of that, I drink about two 8-ounce coffee cups of dark roast coffee from a drip coffee maker, with two tablespoons of white table sugar and a little bit of vanilla flavored soy milk. I am not a big fan of tea, unless it is fruit flavored and then I have to add quite a bit of sugar, which then defeats the whole purpose of drinking tea as a substitute for soda and even coffee. So...these are the Diet Sodas that I found people are saying taste the best: Diet Wild Cherry Pepsi Diet Orange Sunkist Diet Barq's Root Beer Diet Pepsi Decaf (never heard of) Diet Squirt Diet ginger ale Sierra Mist Free Sprite Zero I also read that if you can get used to these carbonated waters, that you will like them as much as sodas, especially diet sodas. Here those are: La Croix San Pellegrino Generic seltzer water Thanks!!!! Your input is just as good as doing research on Google or Bing, since obviously everyone is a critic, but I would prefer real people's input to real people whose jobs it is to be a critic =)

  • Answer:

I Like Diet Pepper and Zero Coca Cola. My mom loves Diet Coca Cola.

Personally, my favourite is Pepsi Max. It tastes like regular pepsi but has zero sugar and even less calories than diet pepsi. However, you should always opt for ones lower in or caffeine free when you can. That's why I often just have sparkling water or cream soda. 7Up-Free and Sprite Zero are pretty good tasting and I prefer them to diet lemonade. I personally don't like root beer or ginger ale though.
