Is it true that cold water is not good for our health?

Is freezing water in a plasic bottle and drinking it harmful to a person's health? If True, Please Explain!

  • I freeze bottle water at work, so I'll have ice water to drink, but two different coworkers have told me that they've heard that freezing water in plasic bottles and drinking it can be harmful to a person's health. Is this true, if so, please explain it to me! Thank You

    They believe the water leaches something out of the plastic into the water. I do not believe they are correct. The only plastic I have seen it said you should get rid of is those plastic dog dishes I bought at walmart. If you use bottles that are for water, there should be no problem.

This doesn't mean like an actual water bottle you would buy that is reusable...that you can put in the dishwasher... It is like the type of bottle you buy with water already in it that is dangerous...you are also NOT supposed to drink out of these kinds of bottles if you leave them in your car and they get warm...like Aquafina or Dasani or whatever...if you look at the side of these kind of bottles, they say "do not refill" and that is why... Oh...yeah you can freeze the real water bottles you buy as just a water bottle, but don't re-use the ones that come with water in them...
