Why is rooibos tea good for you?

Is Rooibos Tea Spicy?

• I had been thinking about buying some Rooibos tea for a little while. But I'm not sure if I should or not. The reason I ask is because I'm unsure if some flavors are spicy. I remember drinking some type of tea at a luncheon last year and it was in a red bag (I'm not sure if it was Roobios tea or not) but it was extremely spicy. So I was a little nervous to buy it. But then I started to have second thoughts and decided I actually wanted to try it because out of all the teas that there are, that is the only one I've never had (unless that was the really spicy one I drank). So if anyone's ever had Roobios tea (like people who actually enjoy drinking this tea and know stuff about it.) could they please tell me if it's spicy or not? Thanks so much. (And I don't need any website links, I know plenty about tea already.)

  I love rooibos and drink it all the time. Rooibos isn't spicy on its own. It has a fairly mild sweet flavour. If you're worried about spicy get a plain rooibos or a rooibos with another mild flavour like vanilla or caramel.
