What would make you buy a new non-alcoholic drink? part 2?

• Just to clarify from my other question... I am trying to determine how the public would notice my drink on the shelf in a shop like Tesco. Would you buy your drink purely because... - it has eye-catching packaging - it is an ideal situation in store (convenient) - price - popular with your friends/work colleagues - nutritional value What would drive you to buy a new drink when it is sitting with other rivals. I was thinking of a yogurt type drink that could be a replacement/ added extra to a breakfast and could also be part of your lunch. Thank you in advance for any answers I get it will be very much appreciated because I have literally 2 days to complete an entire project. Good Times!

  When I buy something new in a supermarket it's usually when the product has it's own little shelf (Like on the ends of aisle), it's at a special introductorary price (e.g. 50p instead of £1). this would make me more likely to give it a try, instead of it's rivals. With a yoghurt drink it might be worthwhile making it have a lower sugar content than it's rivals. People go for the health benefits of a yoghurt drink but things like Yop! are loaded with sugar. Maybe have added vitamins that are specially desgined to kick start your day (Think Berrocca tablets) Finally, if you look at Yop!, their packaging is very child like, if you could choose a packging that its classy but also looks eco-friendly then I would be temoted to buy. I'm a sucker for packaging and I think that most be are (even though they don't realise it!)
