How to cook curry puffs?

How do you make curry puffs without filo pastry or puff pastry?

• I recently had some take-away food from a Thai restrauant in Mackay and their Curry Puffs were to die for, no fast pastry there, it was made with like a special type of flour, does anyone know the secret?

  I use puff pastry.................is that the one in the main street,,Toong Tong,,I thought they had sold and closed shop like Sue Lee.
