If you are looking for a first job (which you say u are), you can still create a resume. Your resume can consist of volunteer work/community envolvement, extra-curricular activities, sports, hobbies, skills (can be computer-related, cooking, etc), clubs, certificates, accomplishments, education, etc. Start your resume off with an objective that explains what you are looking for in a job. You can try this website for resume templates: http://jobsearch.about.com/cs/resumewriting/a/firstresume.htm Scroll down to 'Resume Writing Resources' heading and click on the link "Resume templates" for well..resume templates haha. Good luck and hope this helps :)

ok, so you are not resuming a career - age and sex - give your qualifications and/or exam results - add your skills such as computer - add any additional relevant such as voluntary work or supervision or club activity - one or two interests and the rest goes into covering letters until you're sent forms for more.

a resume lists more than just previous jobs. Did you go to school? List it and when you graduated, including any specific honors. Did you volunteer for anything? List it. Did you ever baby sit or have a paper route? Those are jobs...list them your references are also included with a proper resume.

If you're a student, tell them your areas of study. If you've done volunteer work, mention that, as well as what you learned (before I was a lifeguard -- my first job -- I helped teach swimming lessons, so that helped). Try goggling "student resume" or check out the MSN Careers advice section.

I agree with ckngbbbls. I would also add personal references. Parents, teachers, minister....
